Our farm located in central Alberta about 50 km south of Camrose.  Prospect Hill has deep roots within the Shorthorns and has survived the test of time, with Shorthorns being here for over 50 years.

 

We pride ourselves in raising 100% appendix free Shorthorns with in our Prospect Hill program.  Recently we have expanded with an exciting new program Edensville that will carry appendix bloodlines. This program is primarily run by our grandsons and we are excited to see this program grow.

Here at Prospect Hill our calving program begins in February. We strive to raise mild mannered, easy going cattle. We pasture all summer and in the fall the calves are carefully selected for what we feel will work for you!!
